Default WHICH PROGRAMER-05 DMAX

I HAVE AN 05', 2500 HD, 4DR, 4X4, 62/K--285/75/R16 BFG'S. COMPLETELY STOCK! I WANT TO PEP IT UP A BIT BUT DONT WANT TO GO TOO EXTREME, IT IS A DAILY DRIVER @ ABOUT 800 MILES PER WEEK. WHICH PROGRAMER/CHIP SHOULD I GO WITH? AND BY THE WAY, I DONT WANT ANY LIMPS OR PROBLEMS TO BE AN ISSUE.

If you want no limps go with a Hypertech or Superchip on the highest level and do not worry about it. If you can be careful between 4-5 shifts go with the Diablo Predator (1st choice) or the Quadzilla and run it on the 3rd level.

Even the bigger ones, PPE and EFI have levels that will not limp the tranny.

If you are going to get a programmer you may want to look at an exhaust first.

You really can't go wrong with PPE, Quadzilla or EFI.

I have been running PPE since May of last year. I have kept it on the milder settings for now. On the 90HP setting, I saw a nice increase in MPG when I could keep my Boot out of it. That doesn't happen very often. I haven't had any issues with it.

the fire cracker thing is automatic thats what you start out with unless you become a bombardier. well the Quadzilla stealth2 is pretty nice was really easy to set up only took a few min and she has the sports car get up and go now and I am only running it in 70hp mode. well good luck with which ever you go with you really cant go wrong with todays market.
