Hi, I have a 1983 3+3 that had cruise control on it,but over the years it was removed but has
what i was told is called a transducer to connect transmission to speedometer head i believe
this is like a small gearbox. I need to replace the speedometer cable and housing can i go
straight from the transmission to the head of the speedometer and bypass the transducer
It has a stick tranny in it now.

 

Yep, old old old mod when the CC would go out. Just run a speed-o cable from the tranny to the gage, bypassing the CC stuff all together. No biggie
