this thing sounds awesome!!! gales banks or not, it's nice to see a smokeless pass by a diesel. this does a lot for our hobby.

i would of thought that it would have been faster, though, given the light body and framework. i don't know if it was just the video or what but it did kind of seem like he spun the tires at the beginning. maybe that's why.

Guys, this is not a "dragster" but a Pro-street pick-up. It's now the worlds fastest Duramax, 2nd only to my friend Brad Makinen who ran an 8.40 @ 150 on basic tuning, and the worlds quickest diesel "pick-up". Dragsters are a completely different class.

i think the banks truck is great for diesel performance. most people will want to starty pusing there trucks to the limit so they can prove the banks truck is a fluke!j

8.216 @ 165.50 to be exact. They now hold the record for the worlds quickest diesel pick-up. Still have a ways to go before they come close to the dragster's. They're goal with the Sidewinder was to be the first diesel powered pick-up into the 7's. Looks like they are going to get it done.
