Default Superchips Cortex ?

Anyone here had any experience with these chips, i'm looking to chip a 2001 LB7 Dually truck and i was wondering if this would seem like a good idea...

The truck is a friend of mines and he's already straight piped it so EGTs should be on the down low

they say it makes 425hp, is that safe on the tranny and is there a relearn option ?

I'd say NO. There's better tuners out there... But anything that's much more than 75hp over stock will start killing the trans.

Thats a bit much for that tranny. I would go with a mild tune of any tuner. I havent tried the Superchips so I can't compare but If you can find a PPE or a Edge with the insight I would do that first. Prolly lots out there used for cheap...
