So, I was backing into my parking spot today and smacked the driver side mirror on a pillar and broke the mirror housing. It' one of the ones that has the standard size mirror and extends in and out w/ the blinker in the glass. The only part that broke was the housing. Do ya'll think I can just buy a new housing or does the entire assembly need replaced? If so, does anyone have one they want to get rid of? The damn things were like $350 on EBAY, so if anyones got a suggestion I'd love to hear it!

Too bad it's the driver's side. I have driver's and passenger side that I would gladly hook you up with, but I also have a damaged driver's side housing. Mine was smacked by another truck while I was changing the fuel filter. Funny thing is everything still works on it, the housing is just damaged and the glass is cracked. Unfortunately with these mirrors there are no replacement parts or kits... As far as I know all vendors sell complete units only. Be glad it's "only" $350; at GM here they quoted me $1043CDN for just one mirror.

 

my friend has a set laying around if your interested in getting two of them. idk if they just sell parts of the mirror, you probably have to buy the whole thing
