Don't worry. With the stock 245's the dash programming is usually off by 2mph, swapping to 265's actually will bring the speed-o to almost perfect speed.

Actually, the correct way is to measure the distance (in inches) it takes for the tire to make one revolution, then divide that by Pi ( 3.14159265358979323846 or 3.1415 for short )

My experience is the opposite, I got pulled over on the interstate once in a buddies 03 duramax with 265's. I didn't know he had different tires and I had the cruise set at 80, cop had me at 86. Friendly cop though, he was the one that brought up the tires and let me go with a warning.

Oh by the way, the Edge wants circumference not diameter, my mistake. I haven't gotten around to measuring it yet.
