Well, towed the trailer to the farm this weekend. Held 1000-1280* for 100 miles, not one bad smell. Looks like my little insulation holdback devise worked.

If you are talking about something KB sells...... don't waste your money.

Just the Desert Fox with full freshwater and the Arctic Cat. Should of been around 19,500-20,000 GCVW. A few weeks ago, I removed my V2 to get it updated, so the only 'true overheat cure' on my truck is the LBZ mouthpiece/CIA thingy. The fan clutch came on 20 miles into the trip and cycled off and on all the way there. ECTs hit 213* many times, tranny temps stayed on 208* and it was only 79* outside, pulling on flatland with a mild load, in my case. Oh and my fuel milage was 2 mpgs lower than if I had the V2 on there with a normal LLY intake system.

Can't wait to get my V2 back.

Rttoys,

Do you feel the Diamond Eye pipe is a worthwhile addition? Since I'm doing the cat delete next week, I could do the downpipe at that time. Price isn't too bad... especially compared to the RAPING you take for a BD manifold

It's probably worth more EGT gains than the mouthpiece. A lot of people say it's only good if you are over 500hp, but if you saw them side by side, you would easily see the rectriction in the stock downpipe and the adantages of the diamond eye.

It is kind of a coin toss though. I did mine the same time I deleted the kitty, so which one did the most gains?? who knows, I didn't dyno each conponent (sorry I don't have that kind of time and money anymore). To tell you the truth, I like the Diamond Eye, just from a visual aspect. If you want to decrease EGTs and open up the flow out the exhaust and had a few bucks laying around, I'd do it. Hell, I've spent more on worse products..........

I have put on a downpipe, its a job looks like the gain is better than the manifold. On electric fans, the LBZ has a much bigger Radiator and intercooler stack and more CFM fan.
