I though with the V2 you where fine towing with the damn fan setup? Is the damn fan max a twin or single fan setup? What happend to your header and up pipes I thought those dropped you EGTs a bit?

Well....the correct legal answer is 'no' you can't tow max capacity with the V2 and Fan Damn, BUT there are quite a few people that do it and do it successfully. Now, Fan Damn Max.....we will see soon.

Fan Damn Max is still 2 fans and it all looks the same as the normal Fan Damn, but the motors are much bigger and stronger. One Max fan pulls almost the same CFM as the 2 normal Fan Damn fans. He's also doing what's called Fan Damn HO. Which is one normal fan and one Max fan. Great success so far, from what I've heard.

I still have the headers and up pipes, but due to some recent events with TxC and RDL, I don't talk or give out any more info about them. Period.

My overall EGT and ECT drops are due to ALL the added components I have on my truck. Just the V2 alone I was completly satified with my trucks performance, now it's kind of become a quest to see how low I can get with the ECTs and EGTs and how much power I can increase all without tampering with programming or increasing the noise levels in the cab.

HO only needs one alt.

His forum is back up. You might have to remove the 'the' though.

Russell is on the same quest as I am, except that I have allowed a little more noise. I went with a Borla exhaust, and it is only slightly louder than stock. We'll soon see how noisey it gets when the cat comes off in the spring.

I'm currently running the Fan Damn twin electric fans, along with the V/2 with fan, and have towed around 10K without a problem. But this was through the midwest; not in the mountains, or 115 degree heat.

Here's my fix for the insulation on the bulkhead (firewall). I'll be testing in 2 weeks, the next time I pull heavy.
