your best bet is to contact Mike L. with Inglewood Transmissions and tell himn what you plan on doing with the truck

I have had problems with Mike returning calls or even PM's on other forums. I am sure that some of our vendors here can get the stage IV also.

Wait until you shell out big $$$ for a fully built transmission and it fails too...just because it is a stage IV doesn't mean you can't slip those as well. At least most builders offer a solid warranty - mine stood behind his 110%.

Well i plan on doing building my own I think to save a little money. I know a guy who works at the chevy dealer in cheyenne who built his and will help with mine. i would hope a stage VI would hold up to 500-550 hp though.

Talk to Mike L. He has answered every pm and phone call from me. He spent 2 hours just talking to me about trucks and his busineess and the friends hes made along the way. Hes a great guy and when it comes time to rebuild my trans ill be lookin to him

if your comfortable in doing it yourself, I say go for it. I let Mike L. build my last one, I'm more comfortable with that decision.
