This guy clams to have a working smoke switch. i emailed him to see if he can give me a step by step of how he did it. i think his set up only works on LLY's and up but im sure if you get the directions on how to do it then some one on here with alittle electrical no how than me could figure it out

I'm sure you can. you would just need some way to control how much air enters the engine. i know with the LLY's and up they have a varible geometry turbo (VGT) vs the lb7 which doesnt have a VGT. so my guess is if you could get a motor oporated valve or something that you could put in the out flow intercooler line, (it would need a relief valve on it) but i could see it working that way. it would need to be caliberated so that if you want 50% boost then the valve would only close 50% or what ever %age you would like. i see it being time consuming but when your done it would give you alot of control over your airflow and smoke out put, I AM GOING TO MAKE ONE THING CLEAR, SMOKE IS FUN BUT DON'T BE ANNOYING. LIL PUFFS HERE AND THERE ARE FUNNY AND ITS A GOOD REVENGE TACTIC, BUT DONT BE BLOWING OVER LIL OLD LADIES WITH YOUR BIG DIESEL FARTS.

smoke is a waste man, there are a lot of guys who will slam you for wanting it
Personally I like my tunes from Duramaxtuner.com, the DSP5 is awesome and knowing that i can go from stock power levels(300rwhp) to mustang stomping power(415rwhp), they have little to no smoke, the 415rwhp tune only smokes when i stomp it hard, otherwise if just goes!
