Default 2010 Duramax 6.9
Just read in Diesel power that their sources tell them that in 2010 the duramax will have 425Hp and 750ftlb fom the factory and will be 6.9 litre. I wonder what they could get out of these new trucks without all the bull **** emisions crap.

Also, the Allison is going to be redesigned and the current rumor mill is saying an 8 speed.

I may have to look into trading in, after they come out with delete kits for all the emisions.

Is it going to be a new engine or are they just increasing the displacement? 8 speed that will be cool

I'll believe it when I see it... With the Emissions stuff going on them, I don't see them making that much more HP/TQ and still being able to meet EPA requirements, but what do I know.
