locking the flywheel
In the process of romiving the harmonic balancer and I have my starter off in order to lock the flywheel using the "half inch extension method" suggested by others here. But I just don't see an apprpriately sized hole on the flywheel in which to stick the extension. I have rotated the flywheel and see some very large holes and also some small threaded holes. Anybody could point me in the right direction?

success!, piece of cake. Also I highly recommend a piece of 1" x 4 ft. galvanized plumbing pipe from Home Depot to use as a breaker bar extension.
perfect size to fit over 3/4 inch breaker bar and plenty strong for the job. I'm a 150 lb. weakling and I just leaned on the passenger side fender and pulled on the pipe and the hb bolt slowly loosened.
Thanks
