I think for everyday driving the 45 is a little big. Nice if your going to the track every other day but dd just a bit big as dd. As far as BOV's and wastegates go, so far we find that theyre not really needed, as with the sc you can determine your boost a bit easier by pulley gearing. With that Sc 45 we had it geared to run 60 psi when it made nearly 800 on the last tune. 60 is all we want on the stock bottom end. We have just finalised the gearing on the twin sc's to give us 60 psi also and now the second cp3 is on Mike will start getting serious with the tuning
Yes, the 45, or anything bigger for that matter, is a pain on the street for daily driving unless you can keep the truck on the pipe. Thats why I drive in tow/haul mode all the time.

That was actually going to be my next question. The boost from the SC is going to play a big part in how the turbo reacts but where is the limit. Right now you're probably the only one that knows in a real world environment. I can calculate the projected outcome but that differs with humidy, AAT, and barometric pressure so I would just be getting a base number to start with for the atmosphere here in Houston. So are you thinking that 60psi from the SC is going to be the target? I'm seriously considering trying this instead of going with the MPI twins. In Houston we have almost ideal conditions to run a set up like this. Also, did you guys go with a stock modded CP3 or the complete high output unit?

BTW- I'll be in Perth for a week in about 2 months. May have to take a couple of days vacation and come over to your side of the island to get a ride in that truck.

Not sure what you mean but one by itself is not so good for huge power. One with a turbo is pretty good and two sc are working real well. A bunch of bugs have been worked out and now on to more power with the two. As Mick mentioned, stock bottom end and we just want to play some more before the ultimate test. How much power will it make before it goes

No he doesn't Danny. Although head studs will be incorporated in the next phase of his Dmax project, we have not had any issues up to this point. Who knows, we could have a pop off at anytime.
