Default CP3 "Overflow Valve"

Someone told me I needed to upgrade my "overflow valve"?

Does the CP3 have an "overflow valve" or is this person talking about the FPRV?

ya they are most likely talking about the FPRV i just did a race valve some say not to do that but i haven't had any problems and i don't have to worry limping because of a 1093. you could do a shim kit if you haven't blown the valve to much

You use the bottle test to determine if you need shivs or not and how many right?

the race valve just cuts the return fuel line off completely don't it?

no the bottle test only works on the LBZ engines the LLY will just thru a 1093 if the problem is not enough fuel but it can be solved three ways get a lift pump, shim the valve or do a race valve like i did

Dont forgot that when you install an LBZ CP3 on a non-LBZ you have to change the voltage in your tune to allow the CP3 run and idle properly.

yeah its the opposite, at idle it would be like 23kpsi and WOT itl be like 5kpsi
kinda crazy.

I seen a few lbz cp3's for same for pretty cheap out in the marketplace. U gotta re bend a hard line to get it to fit IIRC
