ive talked to ats several times this last week and they are going to send me a new pump, what worries me is that they say all the pumps are preset a 20-22 psi, why would fass set them so high if that is too much pressure for the d max. im need a pump but not bad enough to screw up my fuel system. any thoughts????

yes i have a d max, no i havent talked to fass when i looked through the paperwork it said to talk to whomever i bought the product from, so i have only talked to ats, what i have heard though is that some of the newer hpfps are adjustable, so thats the only way that i think that this system will work as is

they recommended the 200 gph pump i dont know why i was going to get the 95 or 150 but they said that they always use the 200 and they gave it to me at the 95 price so i felt i was getting a good deal. when i talked to ats on thursday they said that a new pump was being shipped from fass so i should see it on tuesday, they do know that i have a d max, the day i got the pump was the same day i got my trans from them

FYI

With FASS price policy the 200gph pump is close to $100 more than the 95gph. As an authorized dealer we must sale there product at MAP price. Im glad ATS is taking care of you because you wouldnt have a warranty through FASS.

If you have HPFP 200-3008 it should only be putting out 15psi.

that is the exact model so maybe i will be ok with the new pump. why would i not have a warranty with fass if that were true why would the pump come with a warranty card that you send directly to them

Ya you must have got a bad pump. FASS has a price policy that dealers must sale each product at and they cant sale below that price or they will become unauthorized dealers and the products they sale will not be warrantied by FASS.
