My dad has a 2500 crew cab short bed LMM Duramax and that thing is either really good somedays or really bad on others it just depends. My brother kyle put exhaust on his 6.4 and man does it sound bad ***.

E2 your family is strange in the fact that you have a Duramax and a Cummins.Your dad has an LMM Duramax and your brother has a Ford 6.4L.Not very often do you run across a family like that.

I dont have the Duramax anymore i sold it to my younger bro Josh cause a drunk totalled his F150. We all like different things but we are all still tied together. My dad has been so impressed with my trucks that he is gettin a Cummins here whenever is one year locked in loan is up. i convinced Kyle to get the 6.4 just so i could drive it. I like it. Its a good truck for the most part.

Yea he bought a DPF delete kit for it and we are straight piping it. It'll be pretty cool when we are done.

Yea the 6.0s dont have the DPF so you can straight them pretty easy. The 6.4s have the sensors in the muffler and DPF so you have to put foolers on them. It'll prolly run ok. There was a kid in my Diesel tech class that had 6.0 that was straight piped and it was pretty loud. My Cummins would drown it out tho, easy...
