i swapped out all those damn allen bolts for flange hex bolts on the valve covers.

saves a few headaches.

Dang, I completely forgot the ARP bolts...

I did the same with my valve cover- factory was a mixture of torx, hex and allen heads.

I used stainless steel with a dab of ceramic anti-seize. Polished the hex heads and
voilą- shiny thin stainless steel hex heads.
Good work, Danny! Do I have recognized washers below the bolts?

those arent washers, theyre flange head bolts.

the bottom half of the valve cover uses a washer kinda. but its just so easy to disassemble now. before with the allen head bolts when using an allen bit the bit and the ratchet wouldn't fit because there wasn't enough clearance at the firewall on the back bolts.

So you're stuck with using a ball end bit and sometimes they would strip out the bolts i have in there now i can use a swivel socket, wrench, small ratchet and have plenty of room.
