My Duramax tcase wont shift

I have an 08 Duramax and I took the encoder motor off and tinkered with it, now it threw a code co569 and aparently it just needs a relearn but im not sure what to do any help???

I know a buddy had his Batt unhooked for a long time and had to get a GM Tech 2 to reflash his TCM, thats why i asked if your battery had been unhooked...
