I just installed a DSP5 and EFI with a tune from a great vender. Now after 3 attempts, my boost will still go up and down like 5 to 7 psi at steady speed with slight surging felt in the seat of the pants, it doesn't do it while i'm acclecerating. Sometimes when I first get on it my boost will decrease with a decrease in performance and then a second later boost will pick up and it will go like hell. Has anyone else had the same problem?

 

maybe the tune, are you sure you dont have any loose hoses or anything

 

Is this on Cruise by chance? Mine did this on a old PPE tune and would surge almost at a steady speed. This was on a big tune.When I got the upgrade it was gone.

 

Yes it's at a steady speed with cruise control on. It's worst around 1700 - 2000 rpm. I have to record my data on efi while I'm driving send it to the company that built my tune. I used to run PPE on every level and never had this. Though I thought PPE ran too hot.

 

I would yes then its your tune.. And yes to the hot tunes .. I can pour all the water i want and still blast thro the EGT'S.. Twins and EFI for me too very soon...
