Default 07 Manufactor cut off date

Can anyone tell me what the cutoff date was when the manufactorer went to the new DPF devises? I want to stay away from that because it seems as so many people are having problems with that. Not to mention I'm not to keen on wanting to smog the truck later here in S. CA. I do go down to Mexico on occasion and heard that the diesel down there will simply clog up the new trucks.

I heard that the trucks Manufactored on 08/06 are still the old design. Is this true.

Can't find any specific, cut off dates, but engines that have the DPF are:
08 Ford 6.4L
07.5 Cummins 6.7L
07.5 Duramax LMM

It's easy to tell; ALL of the New Body Style has the LMM. ALL of the LMM have the DPF.
