Default 08 LMM EGR AND DPF DELETE

I bought a 08 LMM Duramax a little while back that already has a DPF delete, and I assume to have a EFI live tune to tune out the DPF. Well now I'm pretty sure my EGR cooler is leaking. I want to do a EGR delete using a H&S mini max. Do I need to somehow remove the EFI live tune before I install the H&S tuner or will the tuner do it for me?

Should work just fine. No need to remove the efi live.

Can't the EFI be used to delete the EGR?

Ok I got with the former owner and when they did the DPF delete they used an edge cts 19311, and just left it on a base power tune and kept it. Is that the same as an edge cts race? And which is better that edge or a h&s mini max. Also will that edge delete the egr? Also will that edge tune be locked into the ecu?

So I'm looking into buying a newer truck the only reason is because my LBZ was totaled two weeks ago. I am super bummed out because it was my first diesel and I want to go bk to LBZ but I do want something newer. I was looking into an 08 but I've been seeing how the LMM have the Dpf. Haven't really looking into 2013s but I want to know what people think on the LMMs
