I am working on 2008 I'm working on its throwing a p0700 code. And shifts great till it hits 4th gear and then will not shift up or down Checked at the wireing all looks good. Trannsmission is not sliping. Oil level is fine. It only comes out of 4 gear when you cycle the key. Any one out there know what's wroung or I should try Next?

 

The p0700 is just a generic code what it does is the tcm tells the ecm to illuminate the mil light anything could cause the trans to lock in range for example could be a bad speed sensor, wiring, clutch slippage, valve stuck in the valve body, or bad solenoids in the valve body.
