Default What to look for?

Bought an 06 lbz duramax silverado 2500hd in august it had 128000 miles on it then, it now had 150000 miles. It runs and drives 100 percent. Is there anything I should have checked out to save me from future problems? Like injectors, or whatever?

you can have the injector balance rates checked but LBZ's don't usually have injector problems

The few issues are head-gaskets(more common than you think) and if you run too hot of tuning you can crack pistons, aside from that there's the auto, it doesn't like to be abused too much above 400rwhp

Ok thank you, the only reason why im concerned is because sometimes when i punch it on the highway theres a little hesitation once in a while. The truck kinda bogs down. Any ideas?

have you changed the fuel filter or airfilter lately?

Does it smoke black or white?

The fuel filter was changed roughly 6000 miles ago, and i never have changed the air filter. It blows black smoke, but once in a while it blows like a grayish colored smoke. Possibly white, is this bad?
