06 DURAMAX INJECTOR BLUES

06 DURAMAX INJECTOR BLUES
recently my 2006 CHEV 5500 showing a code P0208 [ injector circuit open cylinder 8 ]
I checked the injector wires for pulse and am getting both ground and positive pulse.
I called some technicians I know and they told me what I did not want to hear that the
injector was bad.
You have to jack up the cab to get to that one, so i did. Well I changed the injector, put
everything back together except the steps and battery box, started it up STILL MISSING check engine light came on, code P0208. Has anybody else run into this? If so. What did you do to fix it? Please don't say repeat the process.
