Default Injector Pump??????

I have a 06 gmc with a lbz and no mods.I drove my truck as always, shut it off . when i started again it ran a few seconds an shut down. tried to prime filter no luck. replaced filter and wif checked for leaks non found. still would not prime. towed to dealer, they say the injector pump is at fault. i have a hard time beliving this. plus at a cost of 3k. the truck has 112k miles. and never had an issue. any help would be great.

I have hado much trouble those pos filters and the poor design that GM/ISUZUI put together. if I wasn't some thing leeking it was something clogged or I was getting the low rial presure code p0087 under heavy load when towing. I bought an air dog fuel preperation sysytem and completely bypassed my stock filter system and I have not had one problem in 25000 miles. Just changed filters.
