I may be new to this site but wrenching for 30 years. Been there done that seen alot not it all.I do know what i am doing.

umm..........allright bud, calm down! was simply saying that the thread is old, and that gasoline will hurt a diesel engine not bashing your "30 years" experience we are all here to learn together and every diesel i have torn down that ran gas through ir had internal damage

Yeah,the fuel system is probably shot, possibly leaking too... Not sure about the smell, unless they didn't get all the gas out... Sad thing is I hear this story allot... Most people don't get vey far.

Yea this truck is way gone or somewhere not owned by me. The truck was owned by a small company a couple of partner owners and 50 or less guys. One of them was ready to sell it and move on the other came in later in the game thought it was worth top dollar even after a idiot attack. It got stupid quick and I walked away. I have know idea what happened to the truck and never have seen it again.

Well, I guess we will just have to wait till next year when someone else offers to buy it.
