Default a/c problem

i have a 06 with dual climate controls in it and if i turn them both to 60 and the a.c button on the drivers side only blows hot hot air and the rest are cold some times if i have them set when i shut the truck off and re-start the truck they all work good all cold air any ideas??

our gas mechanic where i work had the exact same problem in one of the work trucks last wednesday he changed out the climate controller on the side that wasnt working right and it fixed it

I second that, had a similar problem in an older chevy, tried everything because of the price of the climate control, but eventually swapped it and all my weird problems went away.

You want to change the temp door actuator for that side.before you do that, unhook the batteries for about 10 min hook them back up, turn the truck on but do not touch the hvac controls (unless it is off and needs to be turned on) for about 2-3 minutes. If you adjust the settings during this relearn it will lock up. This will make all the actuators go through a relearn. Works about 50% time.
