Default PLEASE READ! Not Starting!!! HELP!!

My duramax showed battery not charging yesterday.
Now today the truck wont start, and wont even attempt to turn over.
I jump started it, and the radio didnt come on and the trucks digital display is super dim.
And also the reverse wont work! and i have no clue why.
After i jump started it, i let it run for 20 mins and i seemed weird but ran and i drove it home, the reverse was still not work, reverse does make a noise just acts like nuetral.
I shut the truck off and tried to start it and nothing no attempt to turn over.

Help!!! Please!!

Sound to me like you have a loose ground somewhere. If you have a meter, test the battery with the truck off. You should get around 12 volts DC. If you don't, you need batteries. If you do, test the batteries with the truck running; you should get around 12.8-14.4 VDC. If you don't, you probably have an alternator or voltage regulator going out. If you do, check for loose wires. Harness wires, plugs, but mainly grounds. Just shooting from the hip, it sounds like you have a ground issue. If all of those check out, you may have an issue in a module.

Good Luck! If I can help, let me know.

I typically buy Interstate. They are probably the best of the lead acid batteries. If you want to get fancy you could get some Optima Red Tops. Get ready to open you wallet for either one.
