most of the kits available are well built and straight forward to put together, just depends on your price point, I have helped with MBRP and Magnaflow and I say Magnaflow edges the MBRP in easy of assembly, but both are nice kits

I have just cut out my stock muffler and cat, and Im satisfied with the results, makes noise when I want it to, and no drone on the highway at 60-80mph

I see no harm in leaving your truck plugged in over night at all, the only thing it can hurt is your power bill, but its not at all a problem for plugging it in over night

Back pressure is not an issue with diesels at all, the Cat just eats up airflow

with a diesel, the more air in, the more air out, the more fuel you can add, its a pretty simple equation

well im a diesel tech, but havent ever had to work on a duramax before, i work on powerstrokes and cummins engine almost everyday but havent worked on any duramaxes. i own a duramax and want to get better mpg but i want it be a little louder to as well. im most likly gonna do a 5" straight pipe turbo back but the main thing is cash.

Autometer and Isspro make them i know, check with the vendors on this site, im sure they can hook you up, and it will probably be as cheap as you can get it locally
