I'm going to go get them checked but it still bugs me that I can ur the truck and then with it in limp mode shut the truck off and restart and the truck has all the power no questions asked but once ur under 2grand for rpm te truck will go back Ito limp with no code for low fuel pressure or high pressure or bad regulator or anything that would go with over or under fueling

Well there sayin that the injectors are fine and the only codes I have with I knew before they checked were the egr codes other then that it check ok but it still just smokes in the first start when it's really cold out and only looses pedal when it hits limp mode but when it isn't in limp mode the truck has tons of power i to the point of gas and fire but I'm curious still f the egr codes tellin the computer that it's not working and putting the truck into limp mode because of the lack of response from the egr and it can have low rail pressure I'm stuffing the **** out of it with fuel and have a dead head kid where the shim valve use to be its pushing the fuel through a half inch line at 26 psi to feed it more then enough considering the vacuum rate was like -11 or 15 at max load someone gota have some good theory's and ideas I dieing over here haha

26 is a bunch first of all, you really only need 12 max. esp if your running fuel through the FICM still.

no the ficm is the computer that controls actuates the injectors.

I know it's the fuel injection control mod and I know a ton about the motor but this is just baffling me beyond all means and the codes I had had were the three egr codes and a mad sensor witch I replaced and went out and the fuel regulator witch went out after I replaced the maf sensor

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Also the only true codes left are the three egr codes and I'm not convinced that those will limp the truck but I would love someone to tell me that they would I put the finger kit in and it didn't do **** they stayed put so that's all I got for info for you guys I don't mean to come off like a jerk but I've been on many forums and I'm sure U have all ran into that kid who's a dope and says he knows what he's talkin about but don't know anything but I assure u I'm not and my truck needs 26 at least to keep the rails full under full throttle because there it's t one stock fuel piece left other then the injectors

you have an edge tuner on the truck and a 42% over cp3 with stock injectors. the edge does not command a ridiculous ammount of fuel as you would think.

Theres been many occasions where technically a lift pump is not needed because the cp3 can provide the fuel system with enough fuel. Like a member from duramax diesels on his lmm was running dual cp3's and aggressive tuning: pulse-width as high as 3200us and commanding rail injection pressures of 26kpsi and his fuel system kept up with the demands no problem and he had no lift pump.

i was having rail pressure problems when running WOT on my tunes a long time ago. so i added a lift pump, and much to my surprise it did not help with the max rail pressure held while running a certain pulse-width. turned out my injectors were returning too much fuel.

also blocking off the FPRV works too... adding shims does the same thing when it comes to holding 26kpsi worth of pressure, but your edge will never command that. plus the plugs leak too.

obviously right now an EGR code is limping your truck since they are the only codes present.

Hopefully this is what ur looking for, see attached.

Nice finally a man that knows some goodies haha yes I understand that but I've gone through 3 cp3 pumps because of not enough fuel due to to much vacuum on the little lines so I figured since I was doing the lins screw it add a pump but I also have high flow by pass lines to feed cp3 w direct 3/8 lines and 3/8 ports and in each fuel rail I've had those ported to 3/8 also and I believ ur probly right about the rest and your Dan right about this crappy tuner what a joke it is but it was free but now it's time to go to some real tuners you we're very helpful and I thank you for some input but just pita curiosity have u ever heard of the finger kits not working

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

And what do u mean by the plugs leak I have a race plug where my shim valve was are u saying that will leak and cause it to loose fuel rail pressure

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

And I read ur atached file verry useful I threw my egr away haha I figured it didn't need to stay in since everyone has said ur runner can shut it off and it will be fine do I need that in regardless or can it stay out if I get a tuner like efi live and shut it off
