Default cranks, no start

i have an 05 and it came in with a no start. Had 140,000 miles on it and never had a fuel filter replaced, so I replaced it. Still had no fuel pressure after many times of priming just to rule priming out. Then checked the rail pressure and was low, blocked off 7 and 8 injectors pressure come up but still no start. I checked fuel return on all injectors and those were bad so replaced. Still no start, checked everthing I could think of. Changed fuel filter again, and rechecked fuel pressure and it was good. Dis. 42 mpa and Act. is 40-50 mpa but still will not start. no codes no vtd light but i did check ignition switch and everthing checked good. any help? thanks

After you prime up the system using the hand primer, does it stay primed up?
You can also try in plugging the regulator on the back of the. Cp3 to get Max flow. Something tells me that the cp3 could be toast, all those miles with no change the pump could of cavitated itself to death

Yea, replaced the injection pump still good pressure no start, but did unplug regulator on new pump and pressure jumped 103mpa and started running but started running rough. I did an injector kill test on each injector and looked at rpm change, 1,3,5, and 6 no change.

It jumped to 103mpa? It should be at least 160 mpa with it unplugged.

Search for bottle test.

Maybe the rail pressure relief valve is leaking. Bottle test will help determine that

Double check all connectors too, if there is no cell, still use a scan too and check for codes.

yea, jumped to 103 and I did not see how high it went but it started when it hit that. Went over all connections at least 3 times and no codes. I'm thinking it had injectors gummed up and when the pressure went that high it unstuck them? I really don't know.

It will start and run now every time I try to start it. I did the injector disable test with the scan tool and 1,3,5 and 6 do not change rpm so we are going to replace those injectors now. Just thinking with the filter not being changed with that many miles the system just had mud in it. When I emtyed the filter it looked like mud.
