My 04 LLY has a squeal upon acceleration(Motor still very strong) and it sounds like a bad serpentine belt(which i replaced-new)not loosing any oil or fluids! Just Fishing around to see if anyone else has had similiar problems! Thanks for any input!!

 

Mine starts squealing around 30 and stops at 35mph. Haven't been able to figure it. Checked the the idler pulleys and still feel good. I'm waiting for the weather to get better so I can tear into it and find out what it is.

 

may be a boost leak squeeling.................it certainly aint a dry bearing in the turbo cuz that would seize up in a hurry with that kinna RPM's

 

If you turbo is squealing then why are you checking idler pulleys? If it increases in sound as you drive and when you are building boost then my vote would be a very small boost leak as well. Time to grab a soapy spray bottle.

 

found a rub on the after cooler(?) line that could be the problem Gonna patch it to see if thats it ! Thanks guys!
