Default Amsoil Tranny Fluid

This is going to be coming up soon on my list. The question is that the Alli says it takes 24qts for a initial fill. What is the best way to drain the converter to get as much new fluid into the system. The Amzoil fluid is pretty exspensive and i don't want to have to change it 2 or 3 times to get the maximum amount of synthetic into the system. I looked at amzoils web site and it looks to be almost identical to TransSyn fluid.

Correct, it is a perfect match for the TransSyn. Sent you a PM on some changing instructions.

You would have to have the trans flushed(not recommended by my tranny guru).I would go with the transynd and just drain the fluid from the pan, change the sump and spin on and fill it up with transynd (3gal. I think).

Without flushing, you may only be removing 50% of the fluid just dropping the pan. Now you have a mix of old and new. I would think if changing fluid, not matter the brand, a flush would be the most thorough??
