Where is the plug in under the dash for trailer brake harness to plug in?? I bought a harness to plug in there so there would be no cut or spliced wires.

 

if ya look under the dash, just to the left of the brake pedal, you'll see a black cover over wut looks like a fuse block. that's a junction block. pull the cover off and plug the harness in there. if it doesn't say the location on the cover, lemme know. i'll see if i can find the exact terminal.

 

My receptacle for the controller was tucked up in the wires to the left of the brake pedal by the emergency brake. The plastic receptacle was light blue in color.

 

He's got a D-max. It should be above the brake pedal to the (R) just kinda laid there.

 

Boy!!! I missed that one. Sorry. Guess I need to pay more attention to the sigs.

Well i got it all wired in the other day. I bought the correct harness and that made the install pretty slick. I even used it and i'll be..... it even worked.
