Default 2005 Duramax
I have a 2005 Duramax LLY on the left bank started making pinging like lifters and now have blow back through the air filter box not sure of the symptoms but my thought is broken valve spring anyone experienced this

pull the valve covers, thats not bueno at all

Will Do you would think if it was busted spring it would down on power but it is not

Not at all and this is what is strange . I had all the fuel injector checked and they are all within tolerances
