Will there be any issues with engine codes if I straight-pipe it?/ open the intake ?

 

I myself have not had any codes form the straight pipe or the intake. it is pretty good odds that you wont get any codes. I think only the cali trucks will throw a code.

 

It all depends. I know paople say "if it has FE9 RPO code, then it will set the CEL". BUT, I don't have the FE9 RPO and mine set the egr codes AND the p0299 turbo underboost code, when I messed with my exhaust. So, just be prepared. If it does set a code, usually a Finger stick or a programmer like PPE or EFI Live can eliminate the codes. Not all do set them, just some.
