Default What's considered high miles on the LB7's ?

Hey there, in the market for a new (used) truck, would like to stick with a GM considering that's pretty much all I ever bought, but was wondering how the duramax holds up once the get up there in the miles. My price range is getting me trucks with around 150,000 miles on um and I would be planing on keeping it for awhile at least another 100,000

Thanks!

Nice! Those are the kinda numbers I was hoping to hear! Have you had any major problems?

Injectors are the biggest issue with the LB7, if the injectors have been changed to a newer style they should last much longer

My LB7 has 437,000 miles on it, replaced head gasket at 367,000 miles, two sets of injectors replaced, still running on the original transmission, and pull a 40' gooseneck in the gas fields of Towanda, Pa for the past year...... I wouldnt even sweat it as long as it was taken care of.
