Default BAD VIBES!!! Need Help Please.

Hey guys i havent been on here very long. I havent ever had a problem with my truck before either. but i have poured over pages of posts and not seen this problem
I have an 02 2500hd that I've owned for 4 years and it has 168k on it. its been a good truck and i plan on keeping it for a while.
Here is my problem, three weeks ago i was going to pick up my gf for lunch and while idling thru the parking lot my truck started to vibrate. it is an rpm dependant vibration. it does it in park and all the way up to redline.
there are no codes thrown. 3 days later i took it to the local stealership for an injection cleaning and new filter while i was there. they did the drip cleaning, charged my 65 labor to screw on my filter and it fixed nothing. It still vibrates like it did.
When they drove it through the bay they noticed tranny fluid. they put it on the rack and told me to be very careful driving it home because my extension housing was cracked halfway through.
i have never had a leak in my driveway until now. when i got home i noticed a 6 in puddle of tranny fluid. so the crack is brand new. i chalked it up to a stress crack and nothing to do with the vibration. i bought a used tranny and t case and had it installed. 9ok less miles for 650 bucks out of a local wrecked 3500 i figured it was a good deal. the tranny shop checked the motor mounts and started it without the tranny hooked up and the vibe came from only the motor and not tranny or torque converter.
A week goes by i babied it to work with the vibration. its my only truck. it runs perfectly. no noises no codes just a hell of a vibration. (pulsates the hood and mirrors). i talk to a bunch of shops and got a few theories
I took off the accessory belt and pulled and pried the harmonic balancer to see if that was the problem and it seemed tight. not it i figured. i started it without the belt and the vibe persisted.
i thought maybe turning it on and off to warm up the glow plugs would help. so i did and started it. i ran it up to 2500 3 times and on the third time when the rpm dropped back to idle the tranny puked all the fluid out on the ground. it appears too have cracked the extension housing again.
What could cause such a vibration and has anyone dealt with this before.
only other low cost thing i could think of is a flat lobe on a cam??
What do you guys think? All the local shops have not heard of this ever happening. i called everyone in the yellow pages locally.

Mine sometimes feels like its out of balance sometimes but it just rocks the truck slightly then goes away. I was thinking mine was my injectors. I think i have heard these motors can slip time on the cam shaft because its a pin holding it on and not a keyway. I would probably get that checked out

i checked the balancer when i pulled off the accessory belt and it was tight..

how hard is it to replace the cam?

I have an appointment on tuesday for a balance test on the motor and if any iof the cylinders arent contributing a compression test.

Its a deep process to get the cam out not only removing the complete front of the motor but u have to remove the valve covers to get the push rods out. I would see if they can check the timing before starting that project. Does ur motor do it all the time or just every once in a while?

Um i would say get the timing checked. And get a balanced rate check on the injecters. And go from there

unless you can flip your truck upside down you have to remove the heads to get the lifters out , so to do a cam swap you have to pull the heads from everything i have seen and read

k so today i had it at the local dealership and they hooked up and did a balance rate test on the cylinders. they all came back as contributing equally.so that eliminates a dead cylinder which eliminates anything catastrophic.in the bottom end. when i did the injection cleaning they balance tested the injectors with a tech 2 and they were all good. so they think its the balancer that sheared the pin and walked out. or the torque converter.

so now im going to have the tranny pulled ($ 500 )and have another torque converter ($100) and extension housing(350$) from CL put in this weekend ,and then pull the balancer off to see if the pin sheared..hopefully thats the problem, i checked the balancer before but i just pried it back and forth and side to side to see if it wore out. i didnt think about it slipping /shearing and getting out of balance that way.
