Default OBDII port does not work. help.

I have been told that one of the reasons could be that the cig. lighter fuse is bad. I have 3 cig. lighters in the dash. The left 2 work, but the right one does not. Any ideas on why that would be? Are they on separate fuses or paths? I am trying to install a diablosport predator programmer on my 2001 2500 Lb7 6.6L diesel truck.
thanks,

well after posting this on other forums - i received numerous replies. Seems it was a fuse in the fuse box under the hood.

Yep. There are two fuse panels on these trucks, one right inside the drivers door and then the one under the hood. Im guessing it was a mini 10 or 20 amp fuse right?

if the cig lighter on the very right does not work, the fuse is located under your hood. All the way to the right and the second one up i believe. should be 15A. I just replaced mine as well.
