wow... i havn't seen more than 2500 rpms since ive' owned the truck... i will keep trying the code tho on my Superchips... I have a book that tells me what the codes mean, so i will cross reference and update everyone...

 

Well the only reason you may see rpms that high is due to it kicking it out of gear and it more or less is just reving it up. i've also done this to my friends 2003 Duramax that he believes has a rebuilt tranny in it although when it shifts it shifts hard sometimes. We were just testing out the programmer on the 165 hp tune and i put it into limp mode by getting in it when we were rolling at about 55 mph and his to hit around 4.5k rpms.

 

Ok ok... I pulled the code and it is "PO380 - Glow plug circuit error circ A" ... surely some other peoples have had this code too... respond PLEASE if you have any recommendations...

 

um sounds like your glow plug controller isnt working

 

this might seem silly, but what does this mean as far as the technical side of things... I know what glow plugs are and what a controller is, just curious what damage can be done and how to fix...
