Question Another 01 Question

I'm pulling the injectors again to have them checked. I pulled them once already and found a couple of things that belong in a whole new story. That fixed, I did notice the copper washers under the injectors did not appear to be crushed, touched or deformed in any way. Past experience with older diesels, the coppers were always a PITA to remove, or I had to dig them off the injectors.

I measured the ones I removed and the new ones I got to replace them and they're both the same thickness-- .078 to .079

Are the injectors supposed to mash the coppers so they seal?

I'm giving the vendor the benefit of the doubt- If I put them back in again and have the same problem, it's time for a refund,. It's not that much fun.

Anyone??

I'd also like to get the measurement from the bottom of the injector cup to the lip the injector sets on. If anyone has their injectors out that would sure help.

Please??
