wow that drivers side is a !@#$%^&! how soon after reinstalling the valve covers can i run the truck (i bought permatex ultra black gasket maker. it says drys in 3 hours fully cures in 24, do i have to wait the 24 hrs?)

also should i have used thread locker on the lower and upper valve cover bolts?

in 2500heavyduty's diy manual post the torque seems very little, maybe just seems that way because i only have a long handle torque wrench (not digital). what is going to happen if that valve cover leaks? just make a mess or damage the motor?

they are covers, its not like the will holding oil level or anything, if you over tighten you have more of a risk of leaking weather it be from cracking one or warping them. although i doubt they would warp but still
