Got some issues, Knocking noise, sounds like its top end, possibly turbo, just randomly started a slight knock then all of a sudden it got worse, missfire, white smoke, still good oil pressure. The turbo still spools, the injectors arent very old, any suggestions, 2002 chevy.

The oil and Coolant both seem ok, they were the first things I checked. I think the smoke smells more like oil than anything else. And Yes the knock goes along with the r.p.m of the engine.

Well, turned out it wasn't an injector, But a hole in my number 7 piston, Probably due to low lubrication, I think my old injectors are to blame,. With a computer we shut the fuel supply off to the number 7 cylinder and the smoke quit. We tore it down only to find the hole, the cylinder walls dont look all to bad. The knock, probably a fuel knock? Should I just replace the piston?

How many miles on the engine?? Probably make more sense to find another engine or completely overhaul the one currently in the truck.
