Guys, I limped my tranny the other day going about 93mph so I cleared the code with my efi live and I was wondering how much will limping the trans will it hurt my towing on a lower tune like say 50 or 70hp over stock. I had my efi at about 400rwhp when it happened just wondering if I am going to have any problems towing about 8000lbs. I know they say it only comes easyer limping it the next time that is why i am asking. Thanks for any help....

 

I personally wouldn't tow with any tune in it's not like they have any trouble pulling stock. It's just not worth the risk with egts and tranny problems. But I'm sure your safe with a 50 horse tune specially since you've only limped it once. Mines been limped a couple times and still going strong (knock on wood)

Im workin on it should have saved up by this fall needing tires puts a dent in the trans budget
