Default Is this a truck i should look at or steer clear?

Im about to buy a duramax and switching from my cummins. I was looking around to get a ballpark range of the price of trucks and found a 2003 GMC duramax with 87xxx for 15,800 LT 2wd white. That price is super low.... should i steer clear of it or drive three hours to look at it? Any help would be great because im going to be doing something tommorow probably. Thanks,,
TC

2wd? what's that? LB7 all I'd watch out for would be injectors, but they have a 200k mile warranty on them

haha man my torque converter is going out, but the only thing telling me DONT switch is i replaced fuel pump, injection pump front main seal and brakes all within the past year. So if i keep the cummins i would get a 3500 aftermarket tranny from somewhere but ive heard that all aftermarket trannys are never good.... any ideas guys? Im StUMpEd

also how would i be able to test injectors? i mean i guess i could "feel" the power of the truck but other then that i dont know of any way i could do that.

Default Injectors

In all honesty, I have a 2002 d-max and have gone through the bad injectors deal. I never once felt an ounce of power loss, not saying this couldnt be different from another LB7 but just a heads up, check the oil, when mine went bad their was an excessive amount of fuel in my crankcase, also call a local dealer and give them the v.i.n. to check if the recall has been done.

You would have to check balance rates using a scan tool. For the most part, if it's a good clean truck then it's worth it. If you have an injector problem GM will fix it- 7yr/200k miles
