got it back from the dealership and the #8 injector is stuck wide open all 8 were replaced under warrenty got to love having friends in low places ( dealership service writer) thanks to all hard to convince someone to let you take there truck to the dealership

 

 

wish dodge had the unlimited lifetime warranty on the diesels like they do on the gas but it turns out cummins covers all warranty work not dodge but hey cummins says 750000 before a rebuild ill put that to the test

 

Dude I have the same shifty smoking issue I have changed my chips around should I go ahead and buy new fuel sticks?

 

what are the signs to look for bad injectors. the obvious is black smoke but anything else. my dad only has i think 58000mlies now. so ill think he'll hit the 7 year mark but just incase. . . .

 

lope in the idle, crankcase full of fuel, blue smoke at idle. loud ratte from engine when driving
