Thanks, me too. The starter does have 7 years and 215000 miles on it. Also my truck has a 105 amp alternator, dont know if this has any importance. I would think a 140 or 200 would be better.

Hey I have a fuel leak at my filter adapter. Ive tried two filters , new orings, no luck. That what causing hard looong starts. I have to prime the dam thing four times to start it, it idles rough, runs like doodee. I cant seem to find a fix for it. Tha filter squeeks bad and has a lot of resistance, almost like I cant get it 100 percent snug. Leaks from same spot every time. So the tune you sent started it, blew so much whitish smoke my neighbor went inside.....

I logged a run with it. I liked it but truck dint. I need a fix for the fuel filter leak. Tried oiling inside and outside oring, no luck. Tried with it dry, no luck. Either way its hard to get on. Like something is keeping it from starting a thread.

hmm, are you sure the old o-ring isn't up in there?

you can use white petroleum grease to try and make the o-ring stay snug, but make sure ur lubing the whole ring too

you really shouldnt have to prime it with the lift pumps, just open the bleed screw and turn the truck to run bot dont start and wait till fuel come out the screw and finger tighten it.

The dam thing got worse over the last couple days. leaking so bad that pumps would not start it either. Come out this morning and about 2 gallons were in the street.
