I've got an 03 dmax stock truck with trans safe efi live! If I got a fleece cheetah 66mm would I have to do studs?

Personally, I think studs are over rated. Seems everyone thinks if the heads come off, studs go in. Most of the problem with head gaskets are a result of a poor head gasket design and although GM will never admit it, a mis-calculated torque spec. Don't get me wrong, studs have their place, but for most of us that rarely see anywhere near 30PSI of boost and over 400HP (tranny safe), go with factory head bolts, new style gaskets, new torque spec and follow procedure for prepping to the "T". Take the $500 you saved in studs and put an air dog on, your injectors will thank you.

If your planning to make 500 hp, then yes on studs , If you intend on towing, yes to studs ...

If your gonna just drive around and occasionally romp on it , head bolts are just fine , up to you .. I would plan for the future if it WERE my truck ..
