Is this a better fuel filter?
Found this on eBay. Wondering if it's a better filter then the stock one.
My truck is all stock with the exception of an exhaust system. I replaced all the injectors about 20k ago and I'm not having any issues but always looking for ways to help the injectors live longer.
Anyone using anything like this?

It really all depends on how much flow your are pulling, and what kind of filters you are using now. FleetGuard filters are the best filters a person can buy, but cat filters are also good filter. Their is alot that goes into determining what is a good filter, what kind of microns, filter material. style of filtration.. ect. but if a spin on would make life easier for you the by all means do it. I have no clue bout D maxes.. but I know something about filters.

A few guys from The Diesel Place suggested Nicktane filter adapter. Its tested and proven to work on the Duramax. It looks like it's worth the investment considering the injector issues these engines suffer from and the poor filtration the factory filter provides.
I just placed my order for the Nicktane fuel filter adapter and Caterpillar 2 micron fuel filter.
