Default 2001 GMC 2500HD 6.6

First of all wanted to say hello to everyone in here and love reading all the Discussions on the site.

As u can see got me a 01 gmc , which would be my first diesel. Love it so far just wanting the more power like everyone else ...

So far I got me a nice K&N Cold air intake , 4 inch straight pipe turbo back , down pipe , and nice Tip.

Now that I got that out of the way I was going to get the programmer next. Was looking at the DuramaxTuner Spade "Jack" for 699.00 . This is what was recommended to me since I had the stock trans and turbo. Anyway what im askin here is would this be the best tuner for the money ? and what other small things could I do to get more out of this motor.
I read somewhere there was a 30 dollar item I can get for more fuel pressure , but then read I wouldn't need anything if I had a programmer on it , really I don't know Any advice here would be appreciated.

Okay new guy, LB7 not a bad choice. Go with EFILive from ATP Rob's tune's are wicked! No, they don't smoke, and he won't make you a lope or a smoke tune. You said you ant power, you'll get every bit of your money's worth here. Invest in a boost gauge, pyro gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some other little goodies like injectors, and a fass lift pump. But remember you have a Duramax. They are very expensive to work on. So injectors arn't cheap, lift pumps arn't cheap. Just giving you a heads up.

ok thanks for the info, what do you think about the DuramaxTuner Spade "Jack" though. It is a EFI live comes with a dsp5 switch and tunes for like 695.00? hope this isnt against the rules but here is a link to it

I'd about all that, I've never used it so I couldn't tell you. All my guys out here who run Duramax's I tell them to get EFI live from ATP Trucks website. Rob is one of the top EFI live duramax tune writers in the country. The kit I showed you comes with everything. Just don't go past level 3 unless you wanna be replacing head gaskets
